The CalCEF Network is a nexus for entrepreneurs, investors, energy companies, industry, government, and academia engaged in development and advancement of clean energy.

The CalCEF Network is supported by the California Clean Energy Fund. CalCEF is dedicated to accelerating clean energy development at the intersection of policy, technology and finance; creating institutions and investment vehicles that address critical gaps in the infrastructure of clean energy finance.

The CalCEF Network facilitates investor education, dialogue and brainstorming between stakeholders about emerging issues related to clean energy finance, technology and policy. This is accomplished through CalCEF-supported events, programs, organizations and investing activities.

The CalCEF Network was originally founded as the CalCEF Angel Network in 2008. The mission expanded to include educational events for early-stage investors in 2009, and support of the California utilities' Technology Resource Incubator Outreach program in 2010. The program now includes public outreach from all members of the CalCEF family.
